New one is really classy, typical high summer landscape. Just realised this thread will be incomprehensible unless the old ones are in it like an archive.

another good header,we men are good at some things It's just as well you surprise us nicely sometimes ;D I love the photo too and another I used to use as my avatar on BFF of Bessie sitting up in the heather - same day but not quite as suitable for a banner. She has come a long way from the "wee tim'rous beastie..." skin and bone, matted fur and scared of her own shadow.... and more especially men Hopefully there's going to be a continuous supply of everyone's photos to use as banners for each month, with their owner's permission of course

Well...... We had a practice session here in Suffolk the other day........ What is it they say? Never work with animals or children..... I just said 'Form an orderly queue..... ACTION!!............' and then it all went wrong.... Oh well.... we'll try again another day. These ducks seem to pass my patio doors most evenings through the summer and last year we got to over 50 ducks per evening!! They're still a bit nervous at the moment and are pictured above heading back through the hedge to the neighbours....

Great photo QB. Is that a special panoramic photo shot, or a big photo cropped down to the best bits?
