I helped Lynn with the livestock yesterday First, I gave the chickens some corn. Then I helped with the geese. I wasn't too sure about Ghandi the gander, so I helped from the top of the gate ;D Then it was off to give the calves their bucket's of milk. I had a rest on the gate while I waited for them to drink it. I really don't know how they manage to drink a whole two litres of it, I couldn't Then we went to check and feed the steers. One silly billy had jumped the fence and was all on his own in the next field. I never realised they could jump that high So I climbed down to the catch to open the gate and let him back in with the others. Then when they were all back where they should be, they all had their dinner, yuck I wouldn't want it, it was like little pellets. The last job of the day was to move the Sussex into the paddock. Lynn let me herd them up Once they were there, I spent a bit of time just watching them with their noses in the grass....I wonder if it tickles?

Yesterday was my last day with Lynn before I moved on to my next destination which isn't that many miles away with Heatherp, so a lazier day saying goodbye and taking it easier. At least the travelling wasn't so long and tiring. I just had to take one last look at the smirking tractor I know it and Lynn have a mutual love hate relationship but I rather liked it. Ofcourse I couldn't go without saying goodbye to the cat, he'd been rather good with me so I gave him some extra biscuits, particularly as Lynn had been rather mean and got him with the flea spray And ofcourse the dogs, they'd been really gentle with me and were always bringing me their ball. It was rather good for playing hide and seek behind. Dear Cimmy and Neath..... It's a shame I won't be here when their puppies are born, they'd have been a little more my size ;D

Well Biff awoke feeling better I'm glad to say, he had a bite to eat then he wanted to help me on computer and so had a look on forum then he came out to check the chicks, he found it a bit warm under the light and was frightened he might melt !! helped to feed the calves, and finally for today we had a look round the sheep, Biff kept sneezing so went back indoors again, says he will come out with me tomorrow as he wants to have a ride on a horse

So today is the day Biff is going to meet the horses, up and after a walk across fields we saw them Biff thought he liked the look of one of the foals so he went to say hello He looked Immie in the eye and said can I sit on your back please? after getting to know each other he took the plunge and sat on her now he was feeling really brave and decided he should have a go on King Biff began to get a bit too confident and said gee up King, and what happened next....... help !!!!! Poor Biff he had quite a soft landing on the grass but still ended up with a bit of a headache so took himself off indoors again to have a lay down

Hi Heather, not 100% sure but think Biff may be making his way down to me, had intimated that he would like to come visit so I left it open for him to arrive when ever he had time. Just hope he gives me a little warning as I'd hate to be out if he arrives, we're off to Sedgemoor tomorrow early.
