everybit I cut has been rained on this year tho. Still looks pretty green though? Decent yield is there? Yes very green think it only layed hold of the n a couple of weeks back with our first rains would have grown on alot but I need the extra grass and more importantly to get it out of the way to get going on the spuds in two weeks. Mowed wed instead of going to the show, v heavy shower thurs but then cooked it from then on at nearly 30 deg! Not the disaster I thought it would be yield wise but not a vintage year, not such a big issue with the excellent quality, tho naturally.

Spot the calf (after over an hour searching) I think the software is still the same Marshboy, but I believe the reason this photo has played up is because of the size, it's just too big for it. I have that problem with my pics which is why I resize on Imageshack before posting on here. I've gone back over your previous photo's and none of them are as large as this one. Sorry that doesn't help much, but I look forward to seeing the when you get the time

I shall be playing that game shortly, one calved this morning about 10am and by 11am she had wandered off with it - at least I couldn't see her from near home and it was raining hard just then in a shower. I thought if it was up and walking with her no need to worry much but will see how they are doing in a minute.

Chucked her on the back of truck and reunited the family, yes thats right twins only a day old, couldnt believe it when I saw a respectable sized bull calf only to return a couple of hours later to find the heifer which would have also been a passable size as a single, the bull was so big the cow had slight nerve damage to one leg, after calving. Good job she dropped the second one in a clear bit as I would have had a hard job placing the mother I think. She is mothering them right now and keeping them together as she is shut off on a paddock on her own with the babies, Attachments:

I forgot to say that is a monster of a cow to put the calf size in context, infact she is my biggest hence known as big1. Anyway I dont have a proper camera so the colours and things dont show but after that lot there was a rum change up top and it looked mighty angry but no shower forthcoming this time, been some weird weather lately a storm came over a week ago about 4pm and it went so dark within two mins had to have all house lights on was just like 10pm, we then had 5mm in about a min.
