It is though likely that the offender(s) have used a 4x4 vehicle (s) as they have driven over farm land to carry out these crimes. If you live in these areas and have seen any suspicious behaviour that may be linked please phone Sussex Police on 0845 60 70 999 and report your suspicions quoting the serial number. Please do not forward these to Farm Watch as they need to be immediately tied into the Police investigation.
Sullington Lane , Sullington offenders have stolen diesel from farm pump, however it appears that they may have been disturbed and have left the pump running causing the tank to empty its contents and the fuel to run through the farm into a field. It may be that this crime occurred about 6am this morning as activity was heard on the farm. Again padlocks have been cropped to gain access to the pump. Police serial 0299 of 30/08/2011 refers.
