Thanks for doing the honours Joyce. I sent Rach out with the camera tonight - to take some pics of the baler and wrapper working on grass cut earlier in the week... She didn't get that far ;D Better luck next time.

We pile two bales and heaps of clamp silage down the middle, then dole it out daily. These are later calved cows still with their calves - and a young angus bull in there too. Attachments:

Very nice, those Angus bulls look to be top quality. Do you test for rate of gain or have EPDs?

We register most, keep the fastest growing (compared to the group, on our simple system) best conformation pedigree bulls and cut if not up to scratch. Too much 'growth' can be achieved from a bag - imo.

Hi Bob, Glad you survived the flood yesterday. These are the bulls-in-waiting. The two biggest at just 2, are for sale. The younger pretenders are 8 - 12 months. Feed is just silage and grass after creep feed. No concentrates. Attachments:
