The horse is just incredible and trained by one of the greats. Has to be one of the greatest performances by a racehorse ever - 11 lengths in an a RA Group 1 ? Wow. Would have loved to have been there to see him!

And Black Caviar nearly pipped today after all the hype. I was willing Moonlight Cloud to do it. Jammy Ozzies

Ah, I was defnitely behind BLACK CAVIAR! Have seen alot of recordings of her races in Oz and she is truly outstanding.
For a are to travel upteen thousand miles, to a different hemisphere and race on a track the like of which she would neve rhave encountered before - all undulations and also soft ground which always blunts a true sprinter's ability - well, she is still awe-insiring.
Shame she's trained but a bloke who obviously lives up to his name - Moody - heard he was charging for interviews - what a dick.
The mare was definitely unsound after that race and yet he's aiming to race her agian in November back in Oz. Mare's won over £3 million in prize money and, if she breaks down and breaks aleg, they'll lose her as a broodmare - why would you risk her ?
Beats me but some folk are just plain greedy.
