How long does this take usually?

Ususally anyone joining then pending is flagged up like a PM, and someone should do it within a day or two - I don't seem to have you on pending list or in regular members not sure how that's happened? (So can't approve you anyway  ) I suppose you can post as guest if a part of the applying hasn't worked properly. Best plan might be go through it again - I guess you need click a link in an automated email at some point. Or check spam folders in case an email is waiting to be clicked  |

I feel a bit confused I joined the British Farming Forum. When I log on as harvestmouse it says I am not approved. Is this site different to British farming Forum?

On British Farming Forum it says this when I go to my profile:

Your user account may not have sufficient privileges to access this page. Are you trying to edit someone else's post, access administrative features or some other privileged system?
If you are trying to post, the administrator may have disabled your account, or it may be awaiting activation.

Ah right, this is completely separate really - a sort of off-topic chat area but with strong farming/rural influences.
The BFF site new members can only be approved by the site owner and he tends to let them build up for a week or two then have a big session.
I think he is often working away from home and rather overlooks it to be honest.

Even when you get the go-ahead on BFF, Harvestmouse, you'll need a separate log in for here.
