The new GoPro cam had another test run on Monday and must say the quality from it is brilliant really - pretty much state of the art for tiny cams anyway. Recording at the 'standard' 1080p setting the battery seems to last about two hours, meanwhile the 64GB card can hold almost twice that. This would be a very good way of filling up your hard drive if you saved them - without going up to the 4K maximum size it offers. However for any kind of routine recording I don't plan to download it but just edit direct from the card and only keep the modest sized finished result.

I think I managed to recognise the whole route on that one - not that it was very complicated or eccentric.
BTW, given my computer and its internet links, I expect videos to be a bit jerky, but that one was actually jumping backwards at times, which is a new one to me. I suppose it might be something to do with the editing algorithms.
