Nothing spectacular from me today Joyce, but here's three taken a few minutes ago. Crocuses. They've been flowering valliantly for nearly two months now, and are getting a bit tatty, but still worth looking at. The Gang of Five, in their pen in the stable. Their milk box had just been flushed through with hypochlorite and refilled, so they were actually up and about and taking the odd suck.

Couple more. Urn by the bridge Sorry this one's blurred, but it's difficult to catch them in a heap with a camera: they all get up to see what's going on.

I suppose you could just call a pub the "Dog and Primroses". Very little sillier than the chain all called "Newt and Cucumber" Might perhaps be better without the dog bit Looking back along the track. The house and farm buildings are all in there somewhere!

Farndale daffodils are quite good this year and just coming to peak. There's a problem for the many visitors in that the fields cars can usually park on are too wet - so they are having to try to park on verges (messy).

Appleton-le-Moors Village Hall. Considering this village is now a bit posh the old tin shed hall seems a bit out of keeping - well maintained though. Among the well known residents, Selina Scott's parents.

Today OH took a pic of the wild daffs on Jenny's grave - well it is a start - and there was a warning that may not flower first year. Stones hold down some weldmesh to prevent 'things' digging her up.
