Difficult subject won't stand still Second Prize winner. A couple of hours hanging around means a nap is required before the ride to new owners. Pictures from refurb £100 Samsung Galaxy S5 - surprisingly good!

First serious numbers of lambs spotted today - Kildale. There were more across the road in another field, looks like they lamb in poly tunnels at the farm and bring them out in quadbike trailer.

Just some nice pine trees grabbed from video yesterday. The sky was almost perfect except for smoke lower down (heather burning)

St Mary's Priory, Old Malton. Must have driven past this hundreds of times but found a few minutes to stop today. By late afternoon the limestone on the main entrance side seems to almost glow in a very welcoming way. The place is of great age but has become much diminished compared to its former glory - but still a very large building for what amounts to a village to maintain. Originally there was a second tower to the left, and the main body of the church had aisles both sides but they have been removed and the arches between filled in. No trace remains of Transepts and a further tower where they crossed. It dates back to Norman times - note round arches over door. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Malton_Priory(Galaxy S5 phone pic!)

Ruswarp 'May Day' sale. The field above normal car park is an overflow parking area but very steep so need to be careful if not 4x4

Two from (stores) market today. Very few sheep in just now, there were about 4 pens with some sort of runty hogs (2016 lambs) and about 20 pens with ewes and 2017 lambs looked like one place clearing out because all similar. In Cattle: There were three pens of these British Blues all about 4 months just weaned presumably from a dairy farm. All made about £500 each so not bad at that age. Someone will turn them out I expect.
