It's interesting there are hardly any on that plot this year. It was conifer plantation cleared and churned up early in 2015 so they seeded on bare ground and flowered 2016. This time I see some good patches on moor where patches of bracken were treated a couple of years ago. The old bracken litter seems to be very poor in nutrients and nothing much grows for years. Some patches sprayed in the late 1980s eventually turned into eroded areas which are only now regaining some vegetation.

The photo was nice but not very suitable for bannerising without a separate panel, the trees are in fact complete Cgi painted in with Photoshop!
