In my wanderings I found this: It was a bit bigger than the Dexta! Then I went for a mooch in the garage and found an SV650s motorbike in a delectable shade of blue...I like blue I did think I might take it for a little spin..... but I couldn't see over the petrol tank So back in I went to drown my sorrows and I don't remember much else, until I was dropped off at Mal's by a crusty hippy type (Mal's description not mine) Just incase I didn't say 'farewell' to Ilovemypigs, thankyou for having me, I had a great time

Hello forum,
Biff here, Mal is asleep following a "stupidly long amount of time in a tractor" but he tells me al the Maize is off and we can now have a day off before cultivations start.
Well i dont know about all that to be honest but believe me when i say we did work.
There aren't that many pics of me as i was far too busy with the stuff Mal put me on to star in very many pictures but i did take a few.
After my first day watching TV and having a beer i thought this Agri contracting lark was going to be a breeze, how wrong was I.

We started off moving some cattle about in what i felt was quite a novel and time saving manner I must say. Attachments:

After we moved them to their new field I helped with feeding, from the safety of the tractor seat as i was a bit worried they might trample me given my size Attachments:

Next Mal told me we were off Sumoing, i thought this meant something to do with fat sweaty Chinese blokes cuddling in nappies, but i soon found that it was more interesting and the machine was truly a marvel. Here we are about to turn (using the Indys apparently not that I ever found out what that meant) I found i quite liked Sumoing as owing to how much fuel we used (Deutz Mal tells me not as fuel effecient as you might like) it meant i got to go home when Mal went to refuel. We did quite a lot more sumoing (about 500 acres) in all here i took a pic of the Sumo during a well earning lunch ten minutes (apparently the lunch hour, like brakes, steering and sleep is for wimps lol)
But i forgot to put it up so it's at the end of the series

This I am told is called a Bastid pain in the (here he used a word I didn't quite hear F something ) arse I meant we had to stop Sumoing for an hour while the tyre folkses came and Mal swore some more. It did mean however that i got a cup of tea and a sandwich Attachments:

Here is the Bastid pain the arse from a different angle, again the sandwich was quite tasty and the tea really hit the spot. I'm told i am to thank "the posh bird" Attachments:

Once the Puncture (which the posh bird tells me is a nicer way of saying Bastid pain in the arse) was repaired we finished the Sumoing and cracked on with some drilling (not a Black and Decker in sight) Attachments:

I got to drive a bigger heap of junk (well that's what Mal called it anyway) 200 horse power so the fitter told me but Mal reckons "taint more than 180 on a good day and most of them are F...ing Donkeys" But anyway I thought it was OK and as my first experience actually driving (albeit with the hand throttle as i cant reach the pedals) i quite enjoyed it Attachments:

I have to say of all the kit I got to play with while with Mal i enjoyed the Forager most of all. I had to sort of jump baack and forth between the levers and buttons and the steering wheel but i'm told i did a fair job and given some of the lanes i had to navigate i reckon i did alright. Long days though but more of that later Attachments:
