I won't even grace that with a reply..... Why do people say 'Are you in?' when they ring on your landline? Strange! I've never had anyone say that! Why does everyone stand at the door & shout ... & expect me to come running? I'm never doing anything that's more important, of course!

If the temperature was zero outside today and it's going to be twice as cold tomorrow, how cold will it be?

Why is it, in a film or tv programme, when people pull up in a car at night, they switch the engine off but leave the lights on. After doing whatever it is... quite a time later, they can come out to the car, the lights are as bright as ever and it starts no problem....!!
Also, when starting a car in at night, they switch the lights on before they try to start... and they always start don't they?
Why can't I buy a battery from the same place they do?
