Back in the early to mid seventies, what started as a school project quickly turned into a quite in depth study of the original route of a long closed down railway line, the Southwold Railway. Most of our work (a couple of mates and myself) was done in our own time with evenings and weekends spent along the original route of the line.
Originally the line was 8 + 3/4 mile and linked Halesworth to the coastal town of Southwold. The line ran alongside the main GER/LNER route from Lowestoft to Ipswich at the market town of Halesworth.
Anyway, to cut a long story short, as well as presenting our findings to the school, I also wrote in to Blue Peter and as a result, we were awarded Blue Peter badges.
My question is, does anybody know what tourist attractions I can get entry to free over this weekend if I 'flash the badge'?
Plus, do we have any other winners of THE badge on the forum?

I never had a BP badge but the wife had one for something which I can't remember. If you were living closer to us your badge would qualify you for free entry to the Welsh Water's annual sewerage treatment event.
