Logging On :
There have been a few people not being able to log on according to a thread on BFF. Everything has been checked and there appears to be no problems at this end. If anybody gets an e-mail from a friend about this please ask them to double check passwords and CAPS LOCK etc as these are the most common problems.
Alternatively we can delete the accounts and get them reset up again.
Reporting Posts :
Just a quick note to say if you want to report a post please make sure you name the topic or copy/paste the link address.
If you just click the 'report post' link it does not show the actual topic name or web link to it.

Is there anyway to get "posts since last visit" ? The most recent 10 or whatever doesn't seem to be enough.

If you go to the profile button and click on it, it will take you to modify your profile. You'll find this: Recent Posts: View most recent posts. Between view and most recent posts is a box with 10 in it. If you go into the box you can enter however many you require. After 'posts.' you'll see a submit button. This should then allow you to view however many you want to. Hope this helps.  As to posts since last visit, I'll refer it to Admin. |

hi not sure whether im one of these, im unsure if farming discussions is the same as british farming forum? if i try and post it wont let me, (on bff) it comes up with.. ovinebovine, you do not have permission to access this page. This could be due to one of several reasons:
Your user account may not have sufficient privileges to access this page. Are you trying to edit someone else's post, access administrative features or some other privileged system?
If you are trying to post, the administrator may have disabled your account, or it may be awaiting activation. yet i can sign in?,

Hi ovinebovine, I checked the recently joined member list and it does show you there as joining on 29th January. BFF's owner/admin likes to manually approve new members himself and the mods can't do it, often that's more or less weekly but it has been known to take a month or so  I know that's not good but he is a busy farmer too most of the time. Worth checking you got a confirmation email soon after registering, and clicked the link in it? This is to confirm your email address is genuine not a spammer invention! There have been a few case where due to the automated style, this email has gone straight into a junk mail folder and been overlooked. edit: actually I think you have confirmed email by the look of it, so just needs Blue to tick your box. |
