It's the Bahrain GP this weekend. Vettel took pole position ahead of Massa and Alonso. Hamilton is in fourth, Button in eighth; the McLaren cars are not showing the same pace as Red Bull and Ferrari. Schumacher in seventh.
The rules have changed with narrower front tyres and fewer sets of dry weather tyres permitted; the top ten qualifiers will start the race with the tyres they used in the final qualifying session. Refuelling is banned; cars will have to carry enough fuel to last the entire race distance. The Kers device is banned. Points awarded have been changed to encourage drivers to win the race.
It will be interesting to see how the race goes tomorrow.

Dull as dishwater, only interest was retirements. Let's hope it gets better over the next few races.

I must say I do enjoy F1.......
However.... due to it being mothers day etc I decided that I would record the race on my hard drive recorder.
Tomorrow I expect delivery of a new one as my recent upgraded replacement (1 &1/2 months old) failed yesterday - dead as a dodo. Typical.
Didn't see the race and haven't really had time to look at BBC iplayer. With the report you'ver given, I don't think I'll worry either.

Right, so far i've missed them all live, but channel 301 has highlights from the moment the race finishes til 7pm. They also carry the post race discussion forum. Brilliant. The races so far have been dul from what i've seen. Vettel did well Sunday, alonso's car buggered uP and Scheuy broke his too (i know i know everyone is gona tell me he is god but he shoud of stayed retired instead of getting in the way at the back)

The blaggarding seems to have started already. Red Bull are doing very wel in terms of pole and potential victories. So now it seems there i some noise about adaptive ride height systems. Ferrari International Assistance have banned them yet Red Bull claim they dont have one anyway. Shanghai shodl be good this weekend if they did though.
Vettell for world chapion i reckon
