Good Morning everyone . It's rained here overnight and we did need it. It's now misty but dry, mild and to my great relief the winds of the last two days have died down. Will have to call the farrier today as one of the horses has cast a shoe, but other than that and the usual checks, milk buckets etc., it looks like being an easier day. Whatever your doing today, have a good day and stay safe.

Morning Stockslave, everyone, bit damp here this morning, but lot less wind as well thank goodness. Just off round the fields for my early morning walk. Few trips to make today but nothing too taxing. Think I may have sold one foal, lady from Newcastle meant to be sending deposit today so fingers crossed, have put them on colouredcontacts website, worked well for us last year. Have a safe day everybody

Morning all! Bright and sunny again, daren't ask for a spot of rain to rev up the grass as it never knows when to stop.
Off to an eye appointment later and that weird visual field test machine.
Last night chatting to as old school friend we got talking about a particular farm local to where we both grew up so I looked it up on a search. The only results were planning applications made by a Mr Joyce!!!!!!
Have a good and safe day.

Morning everyone - been AWOL dealing with foalings etc but am back on track - I think!
Getting slightly panicky about Devon County - the show heifers still need a bit of work being walked etc and I don't think one of them is quite ready to go - she's done a huge amount of growing up and needs a bit more weight to be spot on - should be OK for Royal Cornwall though.
Have heard the competition will be very fierce but at least ours are all homebreds!
