Good Morning everyone . It looks like being another sunny day and don't the birds know it, their singing their heads off. There is a welcome breeze though. Quite a few extra's to fit in today, so it looks like being quite busy and I'm hoping it doesn't get too hot as I'm a bit like the stock and wilt if it is. Whatever your doing today, have a good day and stay safe.

Morning Stockslave, everyone, well had 13 hours at hospital with Mum yesterday, got there at 8 and she didn't have op til 2pm, 3 1/2 hrs before she was back on ward, in such a lot of pain bless her, hate seeing her like that. Think it all went ok but didn't get to see anyone other than nurse to ask. Not sure if she will be out today now though don't think she is as well as she thought she would be. I'm meant to be going to Wembley tonight to a concert with my daughter, no idea if we will ever get there, and its cup final day there as well so traffic will be hell, oh well what will be will be I guess, so damn tired will probably fall asleep.
Hope you all have a sunny happy safe day today.

Morning everyone - beautiful here too. Hope your mother soons feels a little better, Heather and go to the concert and enjoy!
We put a couple of mares and foals down in our river field yesterday, along with this years Blue cows and calves. We had all those back in yesterday for worming and four to dehorn/tag (oops!) too, so there were a few high spirits when I turned them all back in together.. Went down to check this morning and the two foals were flat out asleep, being closely examined by one of the younger Blue calves. Even when they woke up, neither party seemed to be too bothered!
All mowing grass now cut, waiting to be kicked out today destined for the clamp.

Morning everyone.
Dull and breezy but dry.
7 pheasant chicks still not managed to kill themselves despite gamekeeper's predictions!
Bedding plants arrived for my 'pot garden' but think they'd be beaten to death if planted out yet, so still hogging kitchen table.
Best wishes to your Mum, Heather.
Have a safe and enjoyable day.
