hello again all ;D after months of saving i finally got myself a new metal detector, WHOOP !!! WHOOP !!! i live in the midlands area (bromsgrove) and was wondering if any farmers near by might be kind enough to allow me to detect on there land, im always tidy when digging holes and leave the ground like i found it, you wouldn't even know id been digging. i would show you all the finds i get and will split any item of value 50 / 50, its a good way to find out a bit of the history of what went on on your land many many years ago. if anyone could do this for me i would be really pleased cheers all sid

why where is mcfarmer ? i'll keep you in mind grawley thanks for the invite mate. fingers crossed someone sees my post and offers me a bit of land, i can understand some farmers get annoyed with detectorist asking them for permission but it's better than those horrible night hawkers that just go without permission and steal everything, us as detectorist hate people that do that as they give us respectable detectorists a bad name. i love the idea of going out and searching for the lost history that has been there for hundreds if not thousands of years, all finds over 300 years i report to the local finds liason officer which gets recorded for the people of tomorrow and will be remembered for ever. if ever you catch a night hawker always report them to police as it is a criminal offence and they can be prosercuted for going equipt to steal. cheers joyce i will be wondering around the forum more and more now the weather is starting to change, less tecting and more research
