Apologies for not looking in here much recently, its been a busy year one way or another then this week one matter reached fruition pictures of which Joyce thought worth sharing! Our first Grandchildren! Harry, George, 6lb8oz on the left and Charlie, Peter 6lb9.5oz on the right born 2 weeks early by caesarian. Harry is the more "awake" one But Charlie is the more sleepy one. Both have been followed since they were just big enough to see on the scanner a few days after implanting following IVF Surprisingly they were allowed home yesterday but unfortunately they are back in tonight as their weight has dropped a bit too far, blood tests reveal Jaundice and a low sugar count look to be the problem. Haven't even heard them cry yet!! .

Lovely when someone listens to me So glad you shared with us - they are beautiful [and big!]and you'll enjoy being a grandparent - IMO it's far more enjoyable than being a parent

Hope the babies and parents are doing well after their little blip. Thanks joyce, and everyone elses kind comments. Things are going well, both boys are feeding, sleeping and doing "other" things in between, every 3 hours, apart from hollering to be fed the rest of the time they are pretty quite and contented, earning them their nickname of "the chuckle brothers"!!

Oooh, only just spotted this - many congrats! Hope to be joining you in a few week's time when my first grandchild makes its appearance! Must be getting close now? Sounds like the orientation is unknown then? Mum & Dad knew what the twins were but wouldn't tell anyone else Hope it all goes ok. Grandparenting is great fun! Not the most inspiring picture, all three of us look a bit worse for wear!! Boys are piling the weight on nice and steady and seem to be a happy pair, protests when in the food queue or having a bum done
