Our builder had bought six of these for £14 each! Only they are 15 feet long so he was struggling to get them home - he borrowed my bale trailer and still had two on board when it came back - I accidentally said one of them would look quite good in the tidied up barn - he said "Your welcome I'm not sure what to do with these two left over!" So there it is, lovely patina and look free heating tubes included There must be a few good jokes involving those. The Vicar should have had a special control to dramatically turn them up or down instantaneously. He is using two in his own house alongside a refectory table. Though not the most amazing quality if you commissioned someone to make something similar now it would be £hundreds.

They're nice things, if a bit inconventiently long, and it's a shame to cut them up for firewood. Just the thing for an indoor barbecue in your new shed, says he tongue-in-cheek.
