Thanks Joyce It does look beautiful, though getting feed up the slopes through it wasn't much fun and a neighbour has had to rescue me and put a bale of sileage in for the cattle as the 2wd didn't like reversing up the slopes with a bale on. The horses are in, the sheep have brought themselves into the small barn and are not venturing out (can't blame them, they'd have awful trouble digging to get some grass) and the chickens aren't venturing out incase they sink in it ;D . The dogs love it ;D On the up side there's only been one 4x4 and ofcourse the tractor down the lane this morning so it's lovely and quiet.

The Warwickshire plain as seen from the top of Burton Dassett Hill looking North, about 4 miles from the Oxfordshire border. Southam in the middle distance and Coventry on the horizon.

If anyone would like any snow they are more than welcome to it! It won't be long before the dogs can walk on the hedge. My truck and car are there somewhere... And it's still coming down

Beautiful! Just not much fun to work in It's nothing like as bad as 1962. I was working on a farm then and had to walk to work every morning, about two miles across the fields to be there for milking at 6.30. Couldn't see the roads, just legged it over the fields. Gaffer gave me breakfast and lunch. Lunch was a sit by a radiator and a few sandwiches followed by a warm mug of tea and a Senior Service ciggy. Lasted for over 2 months. £3 6s a week for 60 hours.

Is that your new pad in the foreground Scooby? No, haven't found anywhere yet that quite fits the bill but interestingly enough places are selling. I had my eye on a couple of places but Mrs. Scooby not happy with either and they have both gone under offer.
