A few months ago we had new babies all over the place, bad ankles, ear operations, fish tanks. Not being nosy , just wondering how you all doing? Rich

Sadly, a lot has changed since then. Many of us have 'come over' to here, but many did not. I am unsure if this particular site will take off-I sincerely hope that it does, but at the moment there are very few people on line at any given moment compared to the old days, as it were.
There appears to be a healthy number of members, but not too many posts.
Hopefully, that will change in the fullness of time; but we will have to see.

Sunshine and spring means outside work and enjoyment instead of hiding inside with the computer - well some of the time anyway I do miss the old way of BFF but am also grateful for this BB....perhaps the wrong time of year to change boards, as many too busy outdoors. Joyce

A lot of upheaval, but hopefully seeing light at the end of the tunnel.... Holiday cottage trashed by a rampant 2 yr.old, and yesterday the second water leak in a year in there. All fixed now ready for Saturday, when we have a solid run until September. Mrs. Mop again. Calves coming in bundles of ten. Tagged and ringed a group today, which went better than last weeks' when we ended up with 6 pairs, plus a 'lost' calf and a frantic mum - not a pair! Took two hours to sort them out. Welcome to the joys of beef farming. Was going to cut silage next week, as didn't need rocket fuel now no dairy cattle. Internet weather forecasts put paid to that. Blowing a gale and sun over wk/end and on Monday, but low pressure expected after Wednesday and for the rest of May, until the last week anyway, for the SW. So, out came the mower + two more. Foraged it Tuesday night and sheeted Wednesday. Rain today . Copybook stuff - and rocket fuel. It'll have to be diluted with chopped straw / maize etc. or green paint through these anguses. They are genetically programmed to grow on gorse and thistles I think. Just registered 4 pedigree heifers, now going on to CTS to log the latest ten. Another two born this afternoon, after today's round up! OH decided to skitter some 25.5.5 around the lawns to kill the moss this year. It's growing behind the mower, but is very green. Like Joyce, trying to spend some time outside. Too much computer = eye strain. And I've got that too. New specs x 3. M
