Good Morning everyone . It's dry and overcast at the moment after heavy rain during the night. The barometer has risen between change and fair. It's a pretty routine day today unless ofcourse something unexpected happens. I was hoping to go to the bank but as my market cheque didn't arrive at the weekend it will have to be another day. Whatever your doing today, have a good day and stay safe.

Morning all, heavy rain last night, hope things improve before Wednesday. Almost impossible to trim the lambs ready for Devon County & it's becoming very soft underfoot. Have a good day everyone & take care.

Several useful showers here over the weekend but they seem to think we may miss them today. They must have done some good though.
Have a good day one and all.

Yesterday was a riot - washing down five of the show team in the pouring rain - we were all bloody miserable by the time we'd finished. All bedded up again so they had really good deep beds to snuggle down in afterwards at least...
Had to bring in the two mares and foals that have been out full-time just to dry off over night - it's been really cold here and combined with the constant rain and wind, not a good combo! Back out again today though!
Lots of small jobs to get done before Devon County now - and loads of lists to work through..
At least it's dry so far this morning - just as well as one of the dry cows was on calving when I checked their field earlier - handed that over to Reg to deal with as I've my chiro appointment to go to!!

Sounds like some nasty weather down south - lovely sunny good morning from the NW!
Bright and breezy outside, but not me I'm afraid.... still hoping some pheasant eggs might hatch but fear incubator temp might have been a bit too low....so ordered 6 more for a broody hen.

Hey ho Its nice and sunny out here in sand country.. Hope things have settled at home in ssuuummerzett, had comms with home last nite and some kind soul had left foot path gate open allowing 43 youngstock the right to roam, said cattle owner and farm worker where enjoying sevral shandies in pub on hill when some chap said'' look at them cows down there running through those bushes........... As the mobile started ringing 'here mate your steers are in our currant field'' all mad panic as currant field is open to main road which joins a303. Highly unlikly that the pratt who left the gate open will read this but if you do cheers knobber apparently a good evening was spoilt chasing cattle.....
