well it was a tuesday and i the flick are on our road every tuesday clocking for speed , so he will have a big problim when he got home , but why is it that when people get out off there own country they think there is no law or think they can go home and think they are safe , its a law that came out 5years ago to stop germans driven across france in one day to go to spain and a new law that came out last year was to do with speed cam if a car form other eu countrys and switzerland will be get there fines in the post

is driven fast and killing someone is not fair , if you bring your car to france overloaded it will be weighted the extra taken off on the side off the road and you run the risk of being charged with being in charge of a letal wepon , same goes for tyre presser

I was last in France about 8 years ago, things seemed quite relaxed regarding speeding within reason - well similar to here in that on main roads most traffic would maintain 70mph or so if nothing slower holding it up. Only briefly went on the toll autoroutes and that seemed faster than the UK, mainly since it was not so busy I thought.
Always remember coming back home through Belgium one weekend - took the motorway which circles Brussells like the M25 here. Mostly 4 or more lanes and all doing well over 100mph. Going at the speed limit actually felt dangerous!

If I was going to speed, I'd rather do it in France, where the roads are better and there is less traffic. Driving on the continent is WAY safer.

If Aunty had balls she'd be uncle. I've been in an aeroplane. If speed killed then surely that mode of transport would be banned. Speed doesn't kill, its the way some people use speed that kills, or to be more precise, the sudden stop.

I don't see what the problem is with driving at high speed....as long as the road is able to cope with that speed. if you are on a crowded motorway, then 70 mph is a safe speed or sometimes to fast....if you are on an empty motorway then I can see no problem with driving at 100 mph or more..why can we not have variable speed limits?it would make a lot more sense
