Good Morning everyone . It's dry outside and it's not that chilly. The barometer seems to be stuck midway between change and fair. All's quiet on the ewe and cow front this morning. The sussex calf which made a traumatic entrance into the world on Friday night is looking good this morning, just a little disappointed that he wasn't the heifer I was hoping for, oh well that's life. Whatever your doing today, have a good day and stay safe.

Morning All ;D Hopefully a nice relaxed day today - As posted previously, I'm off to the game fair at the Norfolk Showground today. The weather is supposed to be changing but it's looking good at the moment. Have a good day everyone whatever you're up to.

Afternoon all, rain just arrived here. Fortunately a nice night as I was to and fro to shed thinking my likely troublesome ewe [always has a big single except as a gimmer when she had 2 big boys]was in labour. No lamb yet, perhaps it was turning round as she was such a funny shape and kept sitting up like a dog. She's a lot slimmer today so hopefully won't keep us waiting much longer. Joyce

Lovely day. Sunny and warm. 6 calves born last week are forming a creche ! Fascinating after 40 years of dairy farming to see how close to the wild, beef cattle are. (These are anguses or angus x mums) Calves lie in a circle with one or two adults on guard. The rest of the mums, and expectant mums are all over the field. Have a good week. Matt
