They are so cute when just starting to get a bit of confidence on their feet. At the moment I've three late born ones have their own little hooligan gang, you can imagine them being lifelong chums.

That spinning round>collapse manouevre was very original! Today I let mine in a little field I was going to save for some yearlings and it was more like everyone charge to one end then the other for 10 minutes

That worked well, I've been rather put off video done immediately after calving as the one time I tried it the camera seemed to emphasise every bit of blood and slime and it looked a bit gruesome even though it was a fairly normal easy calving.
