There seems to be a lot of muddled information about this. To find a number you have to pay a pound and then the person you're looking for gets a text asking if the number can be revealed. I can't see it taking off to be honest, let alone becoming some sort of threat as suggested in some quarters.

I no I can't see it taking off either, the email and a few other places made it sound like we were going to have people ringing at all times of the day and night and invading our privacy etc etc, however the BBC make it sound safe and for only people that you want to have your number. I hadn't heard anything about until today so figured others won't have.

These are supposed to be "Business People". Didn't they realise that the vast majority of us don't want telesales people bothering us while we're out and about at our work.
