I found this a couple of evenings ago... searching for Herb Alpert classics and loved this video - two favourites from my younger days - Laurel & Hardy - still brilliant!!

I always have a good laugh at this sketch
It brings back fond memories of my late dads retirement party.
I found his 'order list' a while back going through some papers and mum & I have a real good laugh remembering his sketch.
He had a huge box & described being a youngster and his working life starting with my cub scout cap to a firemans helmet, army tin helmet then a navy hat (he was in the navy for 9 years), then a wig (for when he met mum, a farmers hat (with straw) - for meeting mums parents and finally moved on to a selection of policemans helmets and caps.... there were a few more in the mix of various things and people he met but he did it along the lines of Tommy Cooper getting mixed up etc...... - Brilliant stuff.

Mark Williams obviously based this character on country folk from his home county, so I wouldn't ask for directions if you come here.
