Thankyou WR - I can barely believe I feel almost as bad as when my own pony was killed in a freak accident, but this was no accident - it was blatently ignoring the clear signals......... and I don't say this with hindsight as I was intensely nervous when Synchronised was allowed to race. There is no way that either he or AP could be 100% OK mentally and physically and nothing less should attempt the Grand National. It used to be a race worth watching but yesterday's was a gift to the AR's.

i like the grand national normally ,but even before the start yesterday,not sure lowering the fences has had the desired effect looked like things were going to go pear shaped from the parade rip the 2 brave horses
