Allow us to introduce ourselves, we are a new business called Happy Blue Genes and we have an amazing idea. Many others share this idea, we want to make an unbelievable difference for our planet. We consider farms as the single most important place where we think we can make this change happen. We do not have millions of pounds to buy a farm, but we do have a multi-million pound idea which, when we acquire a space on a farm, we can literally change peoples lives for the better. Protection of this earth starts with real education of the masses. We would like space within a farm setting so that Happy Blue Genes can invite children and adults to participate in our innovative well-being workshops, from money management, to physical exercise. Eventually we are wanting to run many more workshops, sell super food and sustainable clothing and much much more. We are currently writing programs and market researching. The business plan is taking shape quickly and we believe this business is monetized to be sustainable into the future. We are situated in the Didsbury area of Manchester and have just begun a Yes club movement doing good in the community. We see ourselves as leading a movement which people of the 21st century are craving. Living with intellectual, physical, emotional and spiritual abundance in difficult times. This is going to be huge and we would like a land owner to hear what our plans are going into the future. They will be an integral part of the business which plans to expand rapidly in the future. We are looking for somebody who is wanting to make a positive contribution to this world, and whilst starting small, has the 'the skies the limit attitude'. Please consider this carefully and point Happy Blue Genes in the right direction. Think happy )

quote: 'We are looking for somebody who is wanting to make a positive contribution to this world' We usually expect people to start off by making a small positive contribution towards the community of the forum before we want to read all that sort of stuff..... I think it may be time to stop 'guests' posting here...... Why is it some individuals think it is ok to post stuff, such as above, without making any other contribution towards the community at all? It shows a total lack of respect towards others.

Why is it called "Happy Blue Genes"? People usually go for green. I'm not a farmer so if it is really technical think 5 year old when you explain it. A lot of people who lurk here have nothing to do with agriculture. But this forum is a good place to find out the things that affect farmers. If you are genuine and your idea really is going to change the World lets hear it. I don't mind if people think I am dim, if you don't ask you don't learn. In any case they will never know how dim I really am.
And what is a "Yes Club"?

Ok so first I would like to say that the name has not been finalised and is only a way to introduce ourselves. The name of this project will most likely change. And secondly just to reply to a comment above, what is it that you want us to contribute?
Honestly, like I said, we are market researching at the moment and we are attempting to find how we would go about finding space in the country side that can provide us with what we believe will be needed to carry out this kind of project.
We are a few years away from moving to a farm setting but we must start to explore all avenues and opportunities.
I clearly understand that there will be a huge amount of doubt - we are unknown - I may have misused this forum, however, I believe that if you do not ask you do not get. I am exploring all avenues for research and knowledge gaining.
An integral theme around our business is Schumacher economics, working with nature and re-establishing balance in peoples lives. We are currently looking at what it is that people want. Is it food and nutrition education, or workshops around spirituality, or even education about nature.
'Already there is a big groundswell. Bankers and government leaders don'y know what to do. That gives us the opportunity to build lifeboats for when the industrial ship sinks, through new models such as transition towns where people are orginising for well-being. It will happen because people are hungry for it' Satish Kumar. Editor-in-chief of Resurgence magazine.
This is what we believe we are doing. I do not mean to offend anybody and if this is not the place for this type of discussion then I apologise.
Yes clubs are a gathering of organised people who want to do good in the community. This is something that we are just beginning.
Thank you for your replies, I hope I have made our objectives clearer.
Wulvo I understand that this place is mainly for farmers but I appreciate your awareness that others may want to use this forum to gain for themselves, like myself, a greater awareness. We all have a great responsibility to protect this planet we live on and that can only happen by creating awareness in others to respect their environment which can only happen when they respect themselves. True?
Annoyed reader, please express your frustration clearer. Enlighten us as to how we can contribute.
