www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-20657939At 89 he was still introducing The Sky at Night astronomy programme, although they announced a few weeks ago he would only do occasional spots in the future. One of those TV greats we sort of took for granted and grew up with.

Very sad, he taught at my school back in the 50's, did have one of his early books signed by him, lost it during house moves. Someone who will be remembered in history.
