It's been good for icicles with slow thaw and slow freeze alternating. You have to mind your head at the back door this morning.

Apart from Colliemaid, we seem to be the only strip of the country not to have snow. A cold sky though. Taken on the way home from mum's last week. Attachments:

A bit of a miscellaneous bunch of photos for week 4: all taken between 10 and 11 am today 26th Jan 2013. Lumpy tundra A bit less like tundra on the other side of the yard. ...and the chickens sort of dispel any illusions. There's a good collection of little icicles on the north side of this building The lads haven't been out and about yet much today, but funnily enough there are hoof prints in almost every square metre of the snow on the field. The Black Beast has much larger front feet than back ones A few snowdrops doing their thing poking through the melting snow

Neighbour's Misubishi stuck overnight down the lane. I managed to squeeze past while making a rough way through for tractors and she arrived soon after and got it away. The road is still not cleared properly but hope to have a JCB to it tomorrow.

Camelia "Freedom Bell" - the branch with the open flower was bent down under snow to the point where I thought it had broken. It has lost some buds though. Attachments:
