It seems a shame that more people didn't consider using this forum for that really... I guess a lot of them would have already been registered here already as well.... by starting yet another forum it just means people get spread even further apart.

I couldn't agree more QB, plus it makes yet another site to have to visit. Fragmentation at it's best!

On Fwi, Scooby says Kevin has told him it is now fixed but the new server needs to be online for a few hours before the new revised route for DNS or whatever gets through the system.
It should start appearing for some people but not others for a while even during this evening if this is the case.

It will be worth clearing your browser cache and also enter by the main 'front door' URL if you are used to going direct to the forums from a bookmark.

It would appear the forums previous server has been illegally accessed (hacked) on the morning of 12 Feb 2013.

There is a danger email addresses and passwords have been stolen as well as private messages. Anybody who is using the same password on this site as other sites (including email accounts) is encouraged to change all their passwords on the other sites they visit immediately.

It would be as well to change your passwords for email accounts too if you are not sure they are different to the passwords used on this site. It might be as well to improve your password anyway, if you have been using a weak password. A strong password would be a random collection of letters numbers and symbols.

It is not possible to change your details on the old British Farming Forum as it has been taken off the internet. The above advice relates to other sites and online services you use.

We hope to have a new site running soon.
