I had to do this basic sort of stuff way back in the day in order to pass my 11+, which I did aged 10. Now adults are having a f##king debate on facebook about the answer. How times have changed.

Last of the 3 numbers becomes first of the two... ie 117 = 7? then add 1+1+7 for the second ....... = ?9
117 = 79
