This is the best place for these, that other place is full of such coarse folks. They don't appreciate the softer side of life. Your attention to the tree on the right: And inside the hollow space : I've never seen a cat put her kittens in a tree before,ducks, yes. She must have been visited by a raccoon. Once they leave the nest, there's no going back.

Must have been quite a job getting the shot too! We used to have about a dozen more or less wild round the yard but they had got down to two. I moves a round bale the other day and there were six well grown kittens running all ways!

She will most likely move them now that they have been found.

When I was small we had a cat who used to have her kittens in an old tree just like that. There was a tomcat who used to call by and kill kittens until my father turned him into a lead sandwich.
