trouble was Lee, much like U2, he had not released so much as a decent single since the early 1990's. Hardly anyone would have bought the muck he released latterly had he not been who he was, much like U2 really, living on past glories. As for him changing music, you'll probably find that there was some lesser known act somewhere doing what he was doing, but he perfected it. I bet the mobile phone companies love him now though

In all seriousness i am sure he will be sadly missed by his fans and family. A great shame that talent like that went to waste so early.

Having seen the video of the man rehersing, he is clearly ill, his movements slow and jagged, gritty, he is not himself. There is no way he could have physically coped with more actual performances, even if he had lived.
