It's not that easy with 'lady' so called as she is a total madam a proper hill animal and true to her Galloway blood, she likes to keep at least 40ft away all the time, next time they are in the crush they are all being clipped, I know all the numbers off by heart but you cant even see if some have a tag. That big cow nearly always has a little rabbit of a calf and is just huge all the time. I bet she will never have twins is always the plain ones IME

Next Friday I've two big Friesian bullocks to go, it will be interesting to see how they do. Rather average types but are almost 20months so big enough and will weigh. Have been taking Sims and Lims as stores so far, about 18months old and they are generally round £800They made 595 and 650 which I was happy with. For some reason I thought they all seemed down £30-40 or so this week. Always hard to tell, there were more smaller ones in I guess people thinking to sell for turnout to grass.

Sounds a decent price, doesnt pay to leave them whole and finish by 16mo at that money, so I can see why you don't. Everything has stopped growing here so must affect things if the same about.
